Pressure Washing...who knew?!

Okay. I must bow to the most wonderful folks who have offered advice on bus refurbs. I've read numerous places to pressure wash the bus before doing anything to it. Well...yea...about that. <sigh>

I already pulled the windows, tore up the interior, refinished the floors, and I'm at the point where I'm needing to seal/paint the exterior so I can reinstall the windows and move on to the fun build stuff. The Bus-Kote is in the mail (yikes!! Shipping costs!!) and I'm getting the roof ready. Ewww!

Here's a before showing some of the moss/mold from living up here in the Pacific Northwest.

And the after pressure washing photo:

Yup! You were all correct. Scary as h*ll walking on the roof but I pressure washed the entire thing this afternoon and it's basking in the sunshine and warm temps. I'm HOPING it will dry out completely now that I've soaked the poor thing. It's all opened up and there's nothing inside to soak up water so I think we're good.

Thank you again to each and every one of you who is willing to offer advice and opinions. This one, luckily, I listened to. The roof is all ready for primer after a good wipe down with mineral spirits.

Woa a bus within a bus...busception!

I too am excited to skip the water tanks and go with a compost toilet.
Though i may rig some sort of water tank for washing hands and watering plants. Oh goodness i am excited to load the plants up for a ride! (don't have a bus yet but still
