Congratulations on getting your roof raised. 3 Feet?!? Wow, that is something I would love to see. What is the final exterior height of your bus? Do you have a link to some pictures somewhere?

Diesel here in the states is around $4.70 - $4.90 per gallon... about double what it was when we went to South Padre Island 2 years ago.
