New Bus maybe

I am in the process of buying a 2006 Blue bird 30' with a CAT 7.2 engine. I am so nervous. What are your thoughts on roof raise?

Roof raise isn't as bad as you'd think.
You sure you want a 2006 with a cat though?

Yes the Cat has 85K miles on it. Its a good engine per my understanding.

How much emissions stuff does it have?
The cat C7 isn't regarded as a great engine.

A lot of the newer low mileage buses are for sale at bargain prices because the emissions equipment makes for an expensive nightmare.
The ACERT engines put CAT out of business in the medium and heavy truck engine world.
