Re: new member 1965 chevy

ok there she is almost totally stripped and bare metal primed the roof has been coated with a roll on rubber membrane called "inland coating" cut apart a emergency exit door from a school reno and rivetted the piece on the bus ass with 3/16 rivets cheaper than checker plate and has the tank look a bit of rust there but not bad she has a few battle scars but some cheese and some primer coats and she will get the paint i think i will go over the brakes and the susp now repack all the bearings and just go over the whole thing ill take shots of the job for the old skoolers ill put in new brake lines and cylindersetc for piece of mind thanks smitty and good luck with your paint swinada timbuk

Inland Coating. What made you chose it for the roof of your bus and how do you like it now that it is on the roof? Did the application go well? Any problems or details worth mentioning that you noticed while rolling the material on your roof? Prep work? I still need to do the roof on my bus and I have been planning on a bright white ceramic paint...but I may reconsider depending on what you found with your application of Inland Coating.
