Newbie

Hello, I am new to this conversion thing, and can tell you that I am having a ball. I have owned store bought motorhomes in the past, but never had this much fun. I acquired the Captain America bus on the bay and have already started the innevitable changes. I feel much safer driving the PeterBird (half Bluebird, half Peterbilt) and like the fact that it doesn't blow all over the road. I have heard stories abouit the RV parks not allowing Bus conversions in, but I can tell you that I experienced that with my 12 year old Safari (due to the 10 year rule). My bus is built better than most factory jobs (at least the ones I have owned) and creates a whole lot more curiosity. I look forward to reading your experiences and learning from the best. Thanks, Marty Morgan Opelika, AL.

...And you might rename the thread "The PeterBird", so we have an idea what to expect -- click on "edit".
