29 ft from drivers seat to back wall is right, bus is 10 feet tall (12 ft with chimney), final weight is TBD...it was just over 16,000 lbs with the seats removed. GVWR is 29,000.

yep, that was dinner cooking the other night (venison roast in the slow cooker), kitchen is functioning better than expected, it's actually pretty nice cooking in a tiny kitchen, everything is within reach.

We live in a 2+k house and I HATE it. We arw getting our bus hopefully next week. We already have it we just need to pick it up. I want to transform it ASAP and move in with my husband and 3 kids before he gets deployed. We have an urban farm and spend most of the time outside so to keep up with the house amd kids is a lot. I cant wait to start ours. We so far have the bus, the kitchen sink and a wood burning stove

We found a 1/4 acre spot outside city limits at the very end of a dead end road with a 6 month lease. It's got local water supply with good pressure, sewer, 50 amp service and cable (internet), everything we need and no mud, it's got all gravel upper and lower parking big enough for 6 or 7 cars. I think we'll be adding a picnic table and some pots for tomatoes and other veggies. We'll stay in this spot for the remainder of the school year and save money, still need batteries (probably going with AGMs) and a pure sine wave inverter (we've been powering all DC circuits with a 31 amp 12 volt power supply from Radio Shack for the last two years, still works great) and we've decided ten grand at least before we hit the road just in case we have issues with the bus.

School bus farm house sounds cool, we converted ours with the goal of hitting the road fulltime.

It shows! I'd love a tour sometime on my way down to Portland (from Kent, WA) if you'd be willing.

Anytime! Just give us a day or two heads up and we'd be glad to show it.
