Chassis: still looking for my bus
planning to bid on this next Monday

these buses really intrigue me - built on a heavy duty 26,000 GCWR platform, comes with a lowered floor that will double as a sunken living area ( no roof raise needed ) plenty of interior space to camperize and rear wheels so far back that the garage I want can be mostly added on to the back without disturbing the steering too much - 6.6 diesel with 6 speed auto, 5th and 6th as over dirive - gov limited to 3500 rpm - 60 MPH in 6th should happen right around 1700 rpm 146000 miles +/- -- don't know if I'm flush enough to get it, but costs nothing to try

You're not going to be able to do much of a roof deck on that specimen...

But on the plus side;
It will nearly fit into a specimen cup!
(Apologies, Al!)

Being so low and with a long wheelbase, I can see that getting hung up more than I care to imagine, No good for snow either but real purdy!

I think it will be ok - I've pulled holiday trailers with a 2 wheel drive PU through some really nasty conditions - we'll see, might have to turn it into a summer only traveler - lol

I apologize for going off topic, given the rarity of you doing so.
But what do you reckon 26.7 pounds of Canadian coins are worth..?

^...That is an odd auction.
Wonder why they don't take the box of coins to a bank for redemption???

Because it's a gubmint vendor, and that'd make too much sense..?
Prolly darn close to the exchange rate on the bids, anyhoo.
