PROGRESS.....
Almost done with the last piece of big metal on the sides.
I am so blessed to have a Wife with a great attitude. When I got so frustrated trying to get stuff done by myself and trying real hard to make a trip to the emergency room.... She jumped in and gave me a hand hanging the metal.

Thank you for the compliments!!
Today's progress.... A gallon of SEM self-etching primer applied to the new metal.
Unfortunately we are having a huge outbreak of aphids and many of them met their death in my primer.
What grit sandpaper is appropriate for sanding dead aphids?

I dunno if I already mentioned this or not. Hell, I may have even poo-pooed the idea back then but I wish I had seen the front cut before I had cut mine. That looks like it's going to be SOOOOO easy to put back together again. Two extra rows of rivets might look goofy but it's going to be much easier to fab.
I think I figured out how I'm going to fix the butchered ribs. The plan at the moment is to use two squares on the outside of the existing two. Weld those to a piece of flat steel that's thick enough for support but thin enough to get a 3/8" length rivet thru.
Aside from the metal possibly wanting to move while cutting, I don't see any reason why I can't cut the sheet metal, reattach, and put back together like you're doing.

P.S. Do you have/can you take more pics of the rib structure in the front corners? Pictures of the rear with the cut-down? And the framing in the rear?

Only the pics that I have posted. I need a staff photographer.... Asetechrail took more pics while we were working than I did.
I have not started framing the back yet. I will post photos as soon as I do.

Where I could, I nested square tube inside of the rectanglular tube and plug welded.

Where I could not, I placed two pieces of angle on the outside of each rectangular tube.

I'm guessing the door changed between mine and yours. That's really neither here nor there but I'm wondering if the framing is different too.
1" square tube will fit in mine I think. I need to chop a couple inches off and fit check it.

A little more progress.
As I mentioned earlier, I am creating a "deck" by notching out the back 30" of the roof. I am going to place the outdoor portion of my mini-splits.

Nicely done. What is going UNDER your new notch? The two uprights will limit you and access to the window. Since you kept them, filling in the area with storage would kinda be a waste of the glass and light.

That will be a storage area. The cabinet stiles will hide the uprights
I will get plenty of light from the side windows.

Windows leak. If you aren't going to use them as windows, why did you bother keeping them?

Well Bob...... As it works out.... I am not quite finished with the project and may modify or delete the door/window before I am done.

I thought I was the only one building my bus twice. Left the side e-door and I'm still not sure about that idea.
