Last night-
Jake: 1
Murphy: 0

Roof is completed Took 3 coats total and I used 2.75 gallons. I'm going to use up the rest later, just going over everything and looking for areas that aren't quite as bright, but it's good enough for now. On to primer. I'm going to clean and tape things off tonight, and hopefully start spraying tomorrow. Just ordered as respirator from Amazon as it was dirt cheap, and it should be here tomorrow.

YEP!! Bring it on Murphy. I HAVE A BIG TARP!!! (I'm not sure what the tarp has to do with it, but it seemed like an intimidating thing to say)

Re: Project "Brutus"

Started cleaning all the silicone off the windows seals, because I didn't want to paint over it, then started thinking about how dumb it was to have windows, when the back wall is there, and I am just going to be using the space to store my battery bank. I thought about painting over them, but knew that wouldn't look good. So....this happened Need to get sheet metal now! Also, ignore the battery...that is just thrown in there temporarily, as I am always plugged in. Basically just there so the inverter sees something.

Re: Project "Brutus"

Went out to figure out the spray gun and lay some primer on. Murphy gave me a run for my money with some rain, but I was ready, lol... impromptu paint booth. Pretty sure I would have died without the respirator The gun works awesome, but in the process of figuring out the best setup, I created some nasty runs. I'll deal with that tomorrow. Only got the back primed, but that's ok. My main goal for tonight was to figure out how to use the gun.

This is me showing Murphy who's boss.

Re: Project "Brutus"

I'm tired and burnt out, and my bus is still yellow. Time to go to the races!
