Re: Project "Brutus"

Yep!! We love our Keurig. It's funny watching the inverter amps climb while I'm driving and seeing the battery voltage drop. I notice that before I smell the coffee Anywho, we are now at our campsite in Redding, CA. It's an RV resort and I'm not gonna lie, I love it. I don't care that it's not out in nature and that there are lots of people. It's quiet and is NICE!! I will give more of an update tomorrow. To recap, LOTS of mountain passes, lots of miles, bus has performed flawlessly, we got to spend the night at a truck stop last night, and this thing draws an insane amount of attention. Almost to the point of stopping traffic. For now, I will leave you with this...

Glad you made it to Cali. Now that you've had some windshield time, how's the straight pipe? Any regrets?

Re: Project "Brutus"

Yeah....I do need a muffler. I still love the sound, and it's quiet for me unless I open my window, but there is a definite rumble for the people sitting directly behind me. So, sound-proofing the firewall and doghouse, and a muffler, are solidly on the list The stack, on the other hand, is what makes my bus "my bus". My wife even agrees. She just wants it quieter.
