When you blew the tire, did you have a spare and was it on a rim when coach net changed it? or did they have to mount it on the rim for you?
tks
gbstewart
The spare was on the rim, but he actually took it off and put it on the existing rim. He said it was easier and he liked to avoid jacking it up on the side of the road if possible.

How did you get coach-net? When I applied, I was turned down. They wont take school buses.
I did mine online, when they asked for model i just clicked other and typed in my model and motor. No mention of it being a school bus originally. Don't forget, you're not driving a school bus, it's an RV!

Lugs are holding both wheels on. Removing the lugs would free inside wheel as well and allow it to cock sideways, I would imagine. At least that is what I am picturing. It only took him about 30 minutes.
Finally home!! Wish I wasn't though :/ Tons of pics to upload

Those are budd wheel studs by the way...you have to have a socket to take that outer nut off...its rh thread...then you need another socket to take that square shaped stud out...its lh thread to remove the inner wheel...just in case you need to take it off in the future
I am sure looking forward to seeing your pictures...i check your thread a few times a week.

Thanks!! You just cleared up a big question in my head on how it works with the stud and the lug nut. I was gathering there was more to it than I thought. So do the outer and inner wheels have different size mounting holes? No video, Bansil, but I have pics!

Cool, when I got my spare....I asked the tire guy for just a tire and he said "cheaper and easier to just tire/wheel combo"...cost like $50 for non retread used tire and a wheel mounted
Now I'm thinking wow.....
Post more pics when you get a chance.....your tire change is at opposite end of universe from mine before the trip

My wife is intensely afraid of heights. I asked her if she thinks gravity is going to go sideways and suck us off the mountain. This was me acting that out. She was actually mildly humored. We were in a rental here, but driving the bus she would go hide in the back at some points. I felt bad for her and drove like a saint (not sarcastically, tried to make it as smooth as possible for her)
Pics from a random road we ended up on...
Didn't like my mirror mounts, as they were designed to have 2 mirrors on each side for safety. I had removed the 2 showing the front of the bus, but still had to use the goofy brackets. So, I broke out the welder before we left. Went from this...
to this...
Burney Falls, near Mt. Shasta
View from Mt. Shasta
Redwood forest...hard to capture!!
Ocean!
Heading home... This is after the tire blow out.
At a pullout, heading into the Tetons!
Tetons...
These are all off my phone... Camera pics tonight.
