Re: Project "Brutus"

Wow! awesome build! I like the stack idea...

I am horrible with wood. I can build stuff that looks factory out of metal, but give me wood, and it looks like a kid went crazy with some scraps, nails, and glue while high. That has been the hardest part working on mine, is framing. I am not even going to attempt cabinets. If I can't find ones already made I can modify I guess we aren't having them!

Great to see you using it on what looks like an awesome trip!

Yeah...I feel bad for her. I love driving in the mountains, but she disappears to the bedroom or if we are in a car she closes her eyes and covers her head :/

Just saw this!! Thanks man!! My skill set is as follows...I can do an acceptable job at a lot of things and can pick up new skills easily. The downside is that I don't really excel at anything. For example, i can do metal work, and do a good job, but it will NEVER look factory, lol... I'm ok with that

I just go with "If she don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy."

Glad you all made it home safe, cool pictures.

How was your fuel mileage throughout the trip? If I remember right, for a time you got 6.

Re: Project "Brutus"

Yeah, with a 20-30 mph crosswind, I was getting 6. But I was able to get it up around 8, just took slowing down and not pushing it on hills... And no crosswind!! Haha... I will admit though, I was surprised how much the trailer affected it. Kinda wish I had left the fuel pump alone

Which do you want economy or power, you can't have both. Unless you ride a motorcycle.
