• The better half made curtains. Hung them with 1/2 inch copper pipe and bell hangers
• Made a custom shower curtain rod from copper pipe and iron flanges
• Measured and cut the window sills

Those bunks look really cozy, and I love the overall look of clean, modern, and white, with the wood accents.

I'm curious to know more about your light switches - since you went LED, I'm assuming they're all dimmers?

Hi Mark.

Thanks for the nice comments. You're right, I used 12v dimmers for most of the lighting. These are the ones I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I've been happy with them so far. They're easy to use and I can dim to any level with a simple swipe of a finger. They also remember the last level when turned off and back on.

Build a custom bathroom door with a 2x2, plywood, and foam sandwich. Trimmed the corner to match the profile of the ceiling so that it can swing open and act as a divider between the living and sleeping sections of the bus. In the open position, it's held in place by a flush bolt.

Kids had fun helping to paint the door and some trim.

I also built in a pantry area and a dog crate in the lower portion. On the other side is the tankless hot water heater.

Like the dog crate, built something similar here. Get some hinged drawer slides so the door opens and then slides inside against the hinge wall. That way the dog has open access when he can without the door open and in the way. Slide out and lock when needed.

The end is in sight!

Finished tinting all of the side windows and also applied frosted film to the bathroom windows because privacy! My daughter re-painted the BlueBird sign and I love the way it pops against the bus now.

The better half finished the couch/bed cushions and they look awesome. Just have to tackle a bunch of minor things and then it'll be done. WooHoo!

Punchlist:

• Fabricate a protective shroud for the Mini Split lines that go under the bus
• Paint and install said shroud
• Install the vent for the gray tank
• install new driver fan
• wire up a front panel switch for the water pump
• Mount monitor for external cameras
• Install seatbelts
• Build organization system for under-bus storage spaces
• Go on shakedown trip this weekend!
