The knotty pine ceiling pieces on the right, and the red cedar pieces on the left.

The bath tub arrived!

Putting up the pine ceiling boards. Stained/coated on the right, natural/pre-stained on the left, and the soon-to-be-covered on the far left...

The 14x14" hole cut out for the Fantastic Fan...

A cross section of the roof: insulation layered between the metal of the roof and the wood of the ceiling

The air conditioner about to be taken up the ladder...sketchy, but fun

Framed out the air conditioner location inside...

Whenever friends stop by, I have them sign the bus...it's a pretty awesome feeling knowing people you love have added a little of their love along the way

Found the bus on Google Earth...you can see it from space?? An old shot, back when I first started the conversion...

One step at a time Hope everyone is having a phenomenal Monday!

My little workstation outside the bus. It's been so nice out here at night lately on the central coast of California. All set up to trim the cedar boards for the ceiling...

Laying down a strip of putty tape to lay between the boards and the metal of the bus frame. Sticky stuff!

Lot of measuring, pre-drilling & attaching the attachment points for the cedar planks. Same method I used for the pine planks in the fore of the bus.

Counter sinking so the screws are flush

The beginning of the cedar portion, approx. the rear 2/5, where the closets and the bathroom will be

Tango, it smells AMAZING! My friend said I smelled like cedar when I was finished. Best smell ever!

Super duty, thank you! It's a process. I'm ready to be done with the ceiling. Soon, I'll be kicking my feet up, grabbing a cold one from the fridge & watching a movie in it

One more advantage of that fresh, cedar smell...

...you won't ever have a problem with moths!
