Well did the wall insulation over the weekend. Next time I see one of those questions pop up asking if it's necessary to remove the interior skins I'll have to chime in with me 2 cents. I didn't realize it from looking at the outside but there were drill holes on both sides of the walls. It wasn't until removed the old insulation and saw the light shining through. Any way patched them up and kept moving forward.

Yea but I really need to get that top insulation done. Without it the AC is useless. But if you ever truly wanted to know what an oven feels like convert a bus in Arizona 115 degree heat.

Not sure I thought this out very well.

I can relate, only I have a TON of humidity to deal with!

That's looking great. What is that small wood you used under the window... it looks rounded.

Thx, it is rounded. I didn't like how the plywood edge looked so I found some small pine moulding.

Looking good! :

Rare but we are having 110+ degrees here in southern Oregon. I didn't know I could sweat so much.

Boxed in and insulated the wheel wells. Used the old insulation from the ceiling on this

AZ. That might be a bad idea using bat. insulation. One little pin hole in that wheel well and that bat insulation will soak up that water like a sponge. I would recommend sealing it and use some sort of spray foam insulation. Closed cell. But that's only my thought.

I wholeheartedly agree, spray foam closed cell. That fiberglass junk is just a sponge for water!!!!!!! YUCK! And think of the mold issues along with the water issues!!!!

Just my two cents worth.....

Yea good point. I might have to unscrew the top and remove the fiberglass before I get to far ahead

I'm in love with closed cell spray foam. I sprayed some up under my wheel wells as insurance to keep things dry because I had to do a patch job.

That's neat. They should all come like that. I was a real newbie when I did it and wondered if it was the right thing to do...[emoji590] [emoji2]
