Just finished reading all 120 pages today.. such a sad ending.. I hate it that you didn't get to finish your bus project but it was for a good cause then losing a good friend. Sad ending to the thread.

But I learned few things from this thread because I plan to do roof raising. I am 5'11" and the height of the bus is 6'. Thanks for sharing and sorry for the loss.

Eddie's B-Day was today. He'd have been 40.

We were just glad the new owner loves the bus at least as much as we did.

Shorties are now our thing. Currently own two but one will eventually be sold.

Gonna try out a Cat this time!

Are you on a mobile device?

I looked through a few random pages and didn't see any missing.
Anything in particular you want to see?
I don't own it anymore but have plenty of pics.

Its now called the "Derelicte Bus".

EC,

I read on another post that you said, "My Cat will do at least 80 in 4th!" How did you do that?" How many gears do you have? I assume manual transmission.

Its a lowly allison 545. Its got no overdrive and no lockup. But its got 4.11 ring and pinion so its got long legs out on the highway. If it had any other transmission it would be even better.
I do plan to upgrade the transmission in a year or two if I still have the bus.

That's great. Thanks!
