good deal, I think the shorty will be fine once we nail a few of the PITA about it... a guess is we'll probably find some wire shorting out left over fro mthe TV system..

Bus prices here in FL are def high... I know where to bring the DEV should I decide to sell it.. be interesting to see what happens this spring.. or if the fear of Trump gutting the feds budget is going to cause schools to hang onto their busses this year..

make sure the ward is out in the sun to dry out!... if you got the rain we had here last night, I swear it was 2-3" .. I drove through over 500 miles of rain yesterday.. and then walked a few blocks to go eat even with an umbrella i was SOAKED!!

Yeah, the Ward got a good bath, I'm sure.
I got a big tarp over the dash, nothing important likely got any water directly on it.
Its so gutted, I'm not too worried.
We are gonna get out there this week and do a TON of ospho treating of the entirety of the remaining unpainted stuff. Gonna prime the rib extensions, too.

All it takes is some all thread, nuts, a welder, and some steel.
The actual act of raising the roof could be done in an afternoon.

I guess I'm gona go practice welding 18ga a WHOLE LOT for a couple days and finish it my damn self.

On another note- my shorty is completely pissing me off. The right wiper runs if the engine is running. Nothing short of disconnecting it will stop it. I've got SO MANY people wanting to buy this thing from my CL ad, and now I'm in limbo. Can't seem to figure out WTF is wrong.
All in all a very disheartening weekend in Busland.
.... wow man, thats rough, sorry to hear that. really hope you are back on track soon

Fingers crossed, folks- Eddie is on his way!

I *MAY* emerge from this weekend with a completed roof cap!
If the stars align, maybe me and Chris even figure out the wiring on my shorty, too.

Been working hard all week, so I'm not feeling too energetic.

I'm with Sandi and keeping my fingers crossed for you. Good luck! I hope you get that wiring figured out too.
I'm also exhausted...worked all week including today and I just don't have the energy to work on her when I get home! Tomorrow's another day though

SOOOOOOO glad to have such amazing FRIENDS and family to help out.
Pics later when I get home, but Eddie and I knocked out the last of the transition piece today. Really happy with how it came out, and glad we took our time.
Chris came over and got out shorty's wipers FIXED!!!! What an amazing wizard that guy is.... Roxy and I are truly grateful, Chris!

VICTORY in busland this weekend. Ahhhhhhh. Time to celebrate a Bday over here, and now to roll a fat one of my own!
Thanks for all the well wishes and encouragement yall!!!!

My friend "hippie Chris" has been an invaluable source of help through this project. He's been there from the very beginning, helping out even with the WORST of the tar scraping!
