More bad news today. My friend Eddie has cancer. Been lots of bad news all over the place lately. He's getting treatment starting tomorrow. He's a hell of a guy, he's been doing my welding on the bus. Friends like Eddie are hard to find in this world. I love you, Eddie- Hoping for all the best for you bro!

Thanks yall. I love this forum. LOTS of good people on here. I share a lot with yall, I guess this is my "social media". I know I've made several friends in the real world from this site, folks I've grown to love.
Eddies like a brother to me. I LOVE Eddie, and he knows that.
We're gona do all we can for him while he's going through this. I knew he'd had a biopsy done, but I was really being an optimist and the news still shocked me I guess.

I've gotta get some major work done on this bus over the coming cooler months. I'll only be mowing every other week here soon. Seeing buses in action gets me motivated big time. I'm hoping to have the sides paneled in, the doors and windows on, and maybe have the thing painted by feb or march.

I feel the same way, I don't use social media much, so I guess this is my social media as well.

As for your friend, positive thoughts from us to him. Life is full of ups and downs;
peace, love and courage to all.

Do you know what type of cancer?

It is definitely no fun to deal with that stuff, but it is part of life, so is cancer.
I'm sure you will do some 'welding' for him now [emoji4]

You've got zero excuses since it doesn't get all that cold or dark in FL. As soon as the time flips back, I'm going to need lights for anything more than unlocking the door. Sunset is 4:30 to 4:45. At least I won't be sweating balls any more.

Need to find another deal on sheet metal.

Where in AK?; I was just up there for a week and a half. I so need to move there. From what the bus drivers were saying, it never really gets all that dark. Twilight lasts forever.

Anchorage:
Date Civil Twilight Begin .... Sunrise.... Sunset .... Civil Twilight Ends
Dec 21 ........ 9:10 AM .... 10:12 AM.... 3:41 PM.... 4:43 PM

Date Civil Twilight Begin.... Sunrise.... Sunset.... Civil Twilight Ends
Jun 21 .............. n/a.... 4:20 AM .... 11:40 PM.... n/a

Sunrise is a little later but same set as here. And you get to trade that for summer.

Fairbanks:
Date Civil Twilight Begin.... Sunrise.... Sunset.... Civil Twilight Ends
Dec 21........ 9:28 AM ....10:50 AM.... 2:46 PM.... 4:08 PM

Date Civil Twilight Begin.... Sunrise ....Sunset .... Civil Twilight Ends
Jun 21 ................. n/a ....3:07 AM ....12:35 AM.... n/a

May 17th to Jul 24th for Fairbanks the Twilight is N/A. That's almost 10 straight weeks of no sunset. How munch bus work can get done in 24/7 daylight?
