I bet it rides like new now. It's funny how you just get used to sloppy steering and adapt.
If you could share a breakdown of the costs involved, it'd be helpul for those with sloppy steering.

No problem at all brother. Take care of what you need to first. I was just thinking of it and thought I'd act on my thought before my attention gets off on something else. SQUIRREL!!

Thanks for all the kind words and well-wishing yall. You're a great group of folks/friends.
I'm glad Eddie's finally over all that pain and suffering. He'll be forever missed and forever in our hearts.
His mom has been in touch with me through all this and she called me tonight to thank me for being there and showing our love. God its gotta be tough losing a son like that.
Thanks to all of you!
To the friends and strangers who have shown so much kindness- I love you all.
RIP Eddie Sampson! You rocked harder than anyone I've ever known, bro!

I am. The bus needs $$$ so I'm working a ton.
Also- my parents are renovating the garage so I have a VW project that has to be finished in the next two months. But I'll have a REALLY amazing VW finally finished, so that's good. And it will be MUCH cheaper than the bus to finish.
The bus is getting some major work, probably toward the end of summer of this fall. It runs and drives enough to mess around with a bit.
Its gonna get a NICE paint job, custom upholstery and curtains, new tires, and a TON of engine work/upgrades.
We'll be finally selling our lamented pos Subaru this summer, too, so we'll be financially ready to kick some short bus arse after that.
