He got really lucky. Didn't even get a DUI even though when questioned at the hospital by law enforcement his response was "Eff it gimme another beer!".

peeled the entire top of his scalp off, busted his head pretty badly, fractured his neck, hand and a few other bones...
He didn't even work for several months and he's only back working because he simply has to.
Hoping for the best in his recovery, he's really a great guy and an awesome friend.

That sounds horrible. It probably is good though that he's back to work, whether he needed to or not.
I'm reminded of the saying....God protects drunks and babies....

Once the day was winding down, I went to give it a start up and warm up... Nothing. The key was left in the accessory position. IDK how.
The batteries have been drained for probably 3 months?
They've been really reliable. If they don't charge up tomorrow I'm just gonna replace em @$74 apiece.

I wish i had a door opener like that on my carpenter.. I hate that ugly handle taking up all the room in the center of my dash where i want A/C vents to go!

what are you going to do make your door a single piece or put in an insulated RV door?

Goin with a metal/glass patio style door. Saw something similar in another thread.
The SECURITY door will be right behind the driver area.

For now I have to keep my original door on because I don't know the first thing about what to disconnect. No harm though. I'll learn along the way and eventually I'll get it done.
I'm making great progress! I finally got the last rivet out only hours ago! Oh what a feeling! took the walls off and tomorrow I take the ceiling down! If it wasn't for the help of my son on the weekends.....! Next....take up the floor and see what kind of mess I have under there to deal with.
I know I know.....I really have to start a build thread but up until now there's been nothing to report. NOW I'll have some pictures to report on my progress

I just took it ALL out.

CONGRATS on the rivet removal I know how great that feels!

my mechanical carpenter bus is nice that way I can just yank about any wiring I want, and the bus still starts and runs!!

the bluebird I opened the driver's console to change all the lights (only to find out bluebird's driver switch panel uses propreitary lights).. I created a Buzzer that would not stop for nothing.. checked the doors, hatches, etc.. I unplugged the wire and the bus stalled and wouldnt re-start till i finally found one of the buzzer units was shorting to ground...

Now see that's what I'm talking about!!! I know nothing and if i did something like that I'd never figure it out.

lol, too funny. I have so many wires that I'll need to hire someone in or.......park outside my job and see who comes out to take a look see

i work at home depot so i would be right there to buy parts if i need. I have a mind to do some boondocking and do my whole build right there

it's not really that far fetched.
Thanks on the congrats. I'm so relieved...i counted them all up yesterday and came up with a grand total of 1,135

so glad that's over!!

As far as I can tell, out IC's have a bunch more rivets inside than the others.
