Re: "Rufus"

Thanks guys for all the great comments...

Mounting generator this week. Found a 6kw ohnan. Should be plenty. Little concerned about age of unit but only has about 200 hrs on it. Hoping to get it under the drivers side somewhere, trying to keep it out of the belly cargo area...

generator mount

Did you look at the spot where the spare tire mounts on an All American
bus mounts. If you go to the Wanderlodge Users group you will see how
Blue Bird mounted the generator on their single axle pusher models SP38
SP40, SP36 etc. They created a slide out that came out the front of the bus
after unbolting the middle section of the front bumper and taking out the
filler plate where the grill would have been if it was a front engine model.
Mine measures about 24" tall by 34" wide by 52" long for a generator to fit.

That is better than my idea. I was going to put it up in the small door just below the driver. There is a hatch there that, as far as I can see, is only a fuse access hole?
I will ck the website. Thanks Dragonpop.

I have a compressor tank mounted there.
