Tiffany's also been using Google Sketchup to visualize our floor plan in a little more detail.
I think we're going to go with a long bar area that's a mixed work/eat area rather than a dinette.

Great project thus far! I was stationed in Savannah and love the city! I will be following this build, as that is the same bus we have been thinking about buying.

Yeah...Savannah is way cool. I still remember a quote from some old local queen in Savannah who was being interviewed after the move "Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil" came out. They asked him what made Savannah so different from the rest of Georgia...he said...
"Well...in Atlanta, they ask you what you do for a living. In Macon...they ask you who your Daddy is. In Savannah...we just ask you what you drink."
And it's true! Gotta love that town.

Savannah is amazing. Tiff and I lived/went to school there for 4 years. Amazing place with plenty of character, both good and bad (hence the name of our bus). Helluva place to turn 21...

The big barrier for us right now are the infamous rear heaters and their coolant hoses.
For the life of me I can't seem to find a valve on the engine to close... Would it be awful if I just cut the hoses and then top off the reservoir afterwards?
Also- I'm no electrician. Our switchbox looks like a rat's nest... Would it be so wrong to cut the wires leading to the two heaters in back and the one under the driver's seat and cap them?
Been taking lots of photos. Stills and video coming soon!

Hey, so what did you guys end up doing with those heaters and coolant hoses? I am currently running into this issue. I can't seem to find where these run into the engine.

We sort of unceremoniously ripped them out and looped the hose back on itself. We're actually planning on making a video about how we did it- I'll send it over to you and post it on this thread!
