Re: skoolie days
So, to back track a little.
Here we are during our trip to Winnipeg. (before the new paint obviously) where we rented this small car to get around in. DH had a blast driving it in the city
We plan to go back to this campground because it is right beside a water park.

Thanks for sharing your adventures! --- getting out and discovering new trails is what this is all about! Keeps me motivated to get my old rig on the road.

Re: skoolie days
If I was walking around that campground, the only motorhome that I would want to see is your bus.
Below is a pic of my bus parked in a Walmart in Missouri. I think it is prettier than the other motorhome parked there. I KNOW it is a lot stronger.

Re: skoolie days
I'd certainly be more interested in meeting the occupant of the bus than that of the RV. We were just bus-camping last weekend, and as I was hooking up to the utilities a guy rides by on his bike and says "I like your bus!". Now how many people are going to make that kind of comment about one of those big square soul-less RVs?!

Re: skoolie days
We were in a parking lot in International Falls, Minnesota. Our daughter and I were heading into the mall when a man came up to us and asked if "that" was our bus. Of course I said yes. As it turned out, his son is doing a conversion and his son lives about an hour away from us so we exchanged info
It's great to connect with local skoolies

Re: skoolie days
Latest up-grades.
1. Just put the 16 ft. awning on yesterday. (what a deal that was $100.00)
2. The lock for the back door. Drilled through the inner handle and the part on the door to fit a 2 1/2 in pin. the door can not be opened from the outside with out first removing the pin. Simple and secure.
