It was just **** ass luck, it was advertised on our radio website. never will find another one for that price, or in this town.

well the weather been getting a better, and I have been doing some work on the bus, looks like I'm going to need some steer tires, and maybe injectors, Going to put the new flooring in and a few other things. got a 3 week trip planned this summer, and lots of other trips planned, will post pics of some improvements. but plan on more trips and less working.

well today I started to replace my black water holding tank, it cracked at the 3 inch discharge outlet , it was a 23 gal tank, and I'm replacing it with a 39 gal tank, this time I will use a rubber fernco to connect the 3inch pipe to the drain valve, I'm sure the road vibration caused the tank to crack.
Have to get the bus ready for the up and coming road trip.

I was asked to show some pictures of my aircondtioners
front one is a 9000 btu portable type, I have 2x3 lumber screwed around the base to keep from moving, and a metal strap around it as well, on the back I got a furnace take off duct boot square on one end mounts to the exhaust , and then goes to 5 inch round out the side of the bus, works good,

the rear a/c is just a reg 5000btu window model just cut hole and installed no biggy, and works great

GB, that's how i am doing my living room A/C too, originally it was out the window and looked horrible. I finally got sick of looking at it and went out and purchased a hole saw.
Did you use a hole saw? the last one i tried to cut wandered like crazy! looks good!

and yes I used a 5 inch hole saw, it has a pilot drill bit so there's no wondering, just hang on to the drill its a big hole to saw out.
I also don't like the look of window a/c, but for the back of the bus I can live with it.

well I got lots done on my up black tank up grade, I got the drains valves hooked up and made new mounting brackets, I don't have my welder here so I have to wait till t to tomorrow to finish them, but I did get the toilet back in and put a new flooring in as well
here is the top of the black tank looking down where toilet flange fits, drilled 3in hole

this is the 3inch threaded adaptor glued to the flange that gets glued to the tank. then screw the toilet flange to that, couple screws in the floor , bolt toilet

and here it is and it even works once again


now just have to get the tank mounts and finish the mounting

well got the oil and filter changed, as well as the fuel filter, getting ready for a 4000km trip (give or take)
Got the rear a/c changed out old one puked , picked up some beaded seat covers the work ok keep your back from sweating to the seats

well made it back after being on the road for 16 days in the bus, did 4100kms all went well, the old bus ran like champ ,
I have some pictures to post later on, had a great time, got to see the grandson

We have logged 21,000kms on our bus since we owned it, and it seems the road trips are getting better and better
