Skoolie windows

Question: is it possible to remove the top glass piece in a regular school bus window?. I would like to retain like the bottom half of a few of them, cover the top half and keep the opening/closing possibility.

I've taken my Blue Bird's windows apart, painted, put back together and reinstalled. I even cut one down in width to make a window for the shower area (I still have to buy another piece of Double-Glue Chip Glass... I cut one wrong ).

Re: Skoolie windows

We wanted to keep the exterior look of the bus as original as possible, but needed to cover some windows like in the kitchen area and the bottom half behind the sofas. All our windows were quite tinted to start with which helped so we just added extra tint and panelled over them but with some insulation in too. I did worry we might get condensation issues but never had a problem.

The main time it is obvious is at night if there are lights on inside and it is dark outside.
