Just wish I had room for a basement "central air" arrangement. Nice!

It's been a while, been busy working on my generator, not a lot of pictures. I did get a good deal on a pure sine wave inverter/charger and just got it installed.

It is a bit larger than the old one, but was able to get it in the same spot.

Cables and fuse, batteries are in engine compartment about 3 feet on the other side of wall to the right.

View of the control panel showing that I'm on shore power and batteries are charged.

Still a little dressing of the smaller wires to be done and I still haven't figured out final resting place for the control panel.

Hey Somewhere, Sorry I didn't catch up with you while I was in Lafayette. I will be back, but during the week of Christmas.

I plan to install a similar system for AC in my bus. I'm going to use the Mitsubishi mini split system. I found that they make a ducked unit that is made to fit in the top of a cabinet for their mini split system.

Mitsubishi is one of the very best mini-split units out there. Do NOT buy any units made in China. I wound up throwing five of them in the dumpster.

Mitsubishi is supposedly the best, but LG is also supposedly up there as well. LG also happens to publish all their documentation freely, unlike the very secretive Mitsubishi. :/

I do have to admit that I've become a fan of most things LG.

Got the kitchen counter installed today. Still needs the pipes hooked up. I hated washing dishes in the bathroom sink. Still have to do the window trim and some odds and ends.

Just a little bit of steam punk. Mumsywumsy said she wouldn't like it, after it was all done, she thought it very nice. Took about a week of polishing off and on to get to this point.

Cooktops. Still have to construct a cover for when not in use. There will also be a drop in cover for the sink.

Warm weather is coming, hope to get the generator installed soon.

looks great, do you think a bracket to the wall will be needed for vibrations?

Rocks, dirt, water and foreign objects on the road will find it's way into the units from normal driving.

Working on getting some things done and things straightened up and put away for the upcoming summer.
Finally got the last of the counter/table surfaces done. This is the table in the kitchen.

Mumsywumsy always wants to play board games and the only time I really have time is when we're away, so I made a pullout so there wouldn't be any cheating.

When I originally built my door lock, I used a RF transmitter for the remote control. It worked, but I was never really happy with it. The metal of the bus interfered with the signal. You had to be right outside and since the lock is a linear actuator you had to hold the button down while it operated. I just finished an all new setup. This one is bluetooth controlled by my phone. It works from about 200 feet, one button push operates the actuator for the right amount of time. I also have 6 more relays for future use. Right now I just have porch light and front interior lights hooked up.

Control panel using arduino nano, bluetooth module is in front corner of windshield next to A piller.

First outing of the year is in three weeks.

Excellent! Good to see another Maker here. Why do things the simple way when you can use an Arduino and some Bluetooth?

Just out of curiousity, are you encrypting your transmissions?Security being what it is and all.

As a general rule, I'm not all that concerned about security, probably comes from my age and where I live. I don't tend to go places where security is an issue. Besides locks are only for honest people.
First they would have to get the pin # for the bluetooth, then figure out what program I am using to control it. By the way, all coding is on the arduino, but you have to have the right app to access it. I guess if they want it that bad, they can have it.

First trip is Wisconsin for a photo weekend. I generally don't travel all that far. We hope to make a few bus rallys this year. Maybe Glamorama and the Flixible Rally in Ohio, and hit a few state parks. We like to go to state parks during the week when no one is around. Tu and Wed after a holiday we pretty much have the place to ourselves. There are also some Hoosier Cruiser rallys we might make.

Your bus build is great and your photos are even better. I don't know if I have offended or not but your photos are superb.
