But, in the grand scheme of things....
I've gotta take my boss to get his Interlock installed today

At least I've got better sense than to drink & drive.

He said something the other day about the new interlocks taking pics or video and uploading it.

There's gonna be a lot of pics circulating the web of people "puffin' & blowin'"

Milkmania's is definitely bigger than ours is going to be.

We're going with a single unit combo washer/dryer that will be vented to help speed the drying process. We plan to boondock 6 days a week. Then on the 7th day we'll pay for a full hookup RV spot and dump the gray water, do laundry, and use the hell out of the electricity we're paying for....lol.

Mine will be plumbed to RV site 90% of the time... I print t-shirts, so I've got an abundance of shirts...

As it is here in cabin now... I'll go week to week and half before I need to run washer, but I hang dry outside. RV sites deter that (most KOA sites won't even let you hang pool towels from awning)

So, the only time I'll need 220v dryer is minimal and will run from generator during daytime hours.

Camp sites around here are friendly enough... I'll be making friends, once they know I brought the laundry mat with me! Been there, done that!

Yep Milk, that the beauty of the Skoolie world. We all have our own way of doing things and as long as it's right for "us" that is all that counts .

I dissembled my counters getting ready to move to bus...
But, I've built in a countertop dishwasher into the lower cabinet, another find on CL (scratch & dent) new in box, $80 (dents are toward back of case, so cabinetry covers it)

And I love it! I know people that live in "houses" that don't have dishwashers... I'm in a 200sq. ft. storage building!

Life is only what you make of it.

Nice score, milkmania! It's designed to hook up to the kitchen faucet, yes? How do you plan on plumbing it in the skoolie?

To sink with PEX and drain, just like I did in storage building.

Everything I've done to my storage building.... Was planned to move into bus.

Except my big assed refrigerator ($25 craigslist find, ice maker went out on lady) I get my ice from work. 2014 model with LED lighting...
Can hold 9 one gallon jugs of water on top shelf!!!!!

What part of houston you in? I live in Hempstead/work in cypress. I'm "well equiped" tool/skill wise and happy to trade out help for help or help for helicopter rides

It even comes with the underlayment already attached. It really pays to check out the clearance sections of the big box stores. You never know what you'll find.
Awesome score!!!

I live on the NW side right near Willowbrook Mall (FM1960 & Hwy. 249). And my bus will be housed just a few miles down the road while I do the conversion. Most definitely would be willing to trade help for help. But no can do with chopper rides any more, sorry. I retired from the PD 15 years ago and now flying is only a fond memory .

Man I wish. Woke up at 4:00am this morning thinking about it. Is supposed to be delivered here approx. 10am Sat morning. I'm so damn excited it's driving me crazy.....lol.

First thing is to take all new measurements on Sunday to see how accurate our interior floor plans are or where we have to make modifications. Then next weekend I'll start the demo by ripping the old floor out first to look for any rust on the steel floor. Treat any rust, and then put down new insulation and OSB plywood. Then the next step is to remove the side and ceiling panels.

If I can get done early Sat with taking the bus delivery person to the airport I could come and help you. I'll pm you my phone number.

I'm still hoping my side panels and ceiling is phillips heads and not rivets but won't know till I see it.

Appreciate the offer but I must decline, company coming from out of town. Once it gets a bit cooler we're gonna have to swap out some weekend workdays though
