Yep, seats are out and you are correct. I paid the company who I bought the bus from to remove them for me.

You're the smartest one of the bunch! Having those seats yanked out puts you way ahead. I took the seats out of my 40" MCI (along with the jail cages) and I know the pain.

Made a little progress today after work. Got the majority of the wire chase panels down. Only had 3 panels that each had one screw that would not budge. Will have to take an impact drill and some penetrating oil to bust them loose.
Also, attached to those panels are perfectly good lights and plastic covers. None are broken and are free to anyone who wants as long as you pay the shipping.

Finally settled on a lock for the back door. I'll install it this weekend. At least it will keep out the semi-honest people.

I went with the same guarded shackle Master locks for both front and rear doors, and i am really pleased with 'em. .
I ran a few wires from front to rear but never opened up that wire chase, was not aware it was for wire. oops think my lines would be safer up there but they are ran now lol.

I saw that lock at lowes the other day and was thinking it'd be good, was buying a realtor lockbox as my toddler locked the wife out.
Whats the ceiling height on your bus? I'm thinking of buying a painters scaffold so i can lay on my back to cut out the ceiling panels, will have to cut it down though. My bus is 6'1 in the aisle.

I'm going to try the same lock on my front door but not sure I have enough sheet metal on the door side to mount it to.
My ceiling height is 6'2" in the center of the aisle. Just barely enough for me to stand in as I'm 6'1"

Same boat here, I guess mine's almost 6'2 as I only brush it while walking, I'm used to sailboats though so a slight stoop doesn't hurt my feelings. You going to raise your roof?
Looks like you don't have much meat on that cross brace on the door, might have to get creative.

Yeah, the ceiling height doesn't bother me. My neck and my knees both bend so it's all good .
Creative is the key word for the front door. Going to ponder over it on Sat. with a cold beer in hand.

You guys are nuts. I'd go crazy if I couldn't stand up straight in my own home... Also, remember to check out residential storm doors as well. Most are Laminated and or Tempered glass, and my door opening was exactly 36x80... a very common door size.
