Still Sunny is close to finished!
It's been two months and 3 days since we picked up our bus (2004 TC2000 5.9isb AT545) and we're at the point where we can have the title converted to RV and get her on the road. Lots more finish work to do but our house closes on May 31st so our hope is to have the bathroom and kitchen fully finished by then and we can "glamp" while we do other finishing touches... This has been more work than I could have imagined even after countless hours of reading on this forum, but we're so glad to be doing it. The lifestyle shift that Skoolie life will give us and the ability to adventure is going to be awesome. Thanks to everyone in this little community for the insight and build threads along the way and here are some photos from start to now... bearing in mind there is lots of finishing left to do.

I'm getting pretty jealous of all the square feet of room every time i see one stripped out. Great looking bus.

That is a lot of work, and you did it within 2 months and 3 days? That's impressive. I'm still trying to figure out how you painted with the weather that cold.
Maybe you can teach the rest of us to speed up.

What are the dimensions of the boards used on your ceiling?

Oh sure, someone had to ask a geometry question about how big the roof is.
I just keep putting up wood until there isn't anyplace left to put wood.

Thanks! Yes it has been a lot of work but we are motivated by the fact that our house is sold closing at the end of May! lol
We got lucky and had a weekend of weather that was 12 degrees C and sunny which let us get the paint mostly done (we still have to do our colored rub rails and rocker guarding)

We used cottage pine paneling which is 1/4" thick and each piece is 8' long and about 4-1/2 inches wide

Very nicely done, and way jelous that you got that done in two months. That's the look I am going for in my build lots of wood on the inside and plain white outside.
Could you post up a photo of the bathroom, I am struggling what to do with my three piece bathroom toilet shower pan and vanity and the wheel well being right in the middle of all it. What are you doing for a toilet flush or compost?

Thanks! We have just decided to do a shower and RV toilet with black tank, the sink across from the bathroom door in the kitchen will suffice and save us space and extra plumbing... We located the bathroom ahead of the rear wheel wells to save on height and our closets are built on top of both wheel wells.
