Next time you are in lowes or home depot go to the ordering counter and ask.

If I am not mistaken you should be good.

Thanks for the advice. I am going with elastomaric paint on the outside to seal the bus as much as possible.

Back to work on the bus again. I installed all three of my roof vents after work today.

I sealed all the roof seams, rivets, and bolts to stop all of my roof leaks. 84 degrees outside on the roof is rough at least its done. Once the weather cooperates i can paint two layers of elastomeric paint and be done with the roof.... I am now working the inside. I scraped and wire brushed in the frames under the windows... Vaccumed out the cavities with PVC on the end of the shopvac to reach the bottom. I filled a chemical sprayer with ospho and sprayed all the voids. After letting it set all night i am ready for application number 2. Just chipping away till im done. I need to get it insulated so I can enjoy some AC whilst I work.

That's looking good.

I'm sorta kinda on your heels. Well, sanding anyway. Haven't made it to the roof yet.

We've all got that work problem and apparently the jumping around problem as well. I'm ahead of Robin on the paint but way behind on everything else. I'm cutting out a 12"x24" section of flooring directly behind the driver's seat. The seat's seat belt goes thru some less than ideal rust. Ran out of cutting disk. It's barely sticking out past the angle grinder. It's so cute and so useless. I have a box of 25 but they weren't doing me much good sitting on the dining room table 25 miles away this weekend.

Once I get it cut out, I'll have to get it welded back in. I'm not sure the electric at the storage lot will support 20 amps. My Hobart tripped the 15 amp breakers at the gf's house literally every 5 seconds of weld time. Not exactly conducive to welding. Then I can start worrying about interior skins.

Do you have access to a generator? I have had to run my welder off of my generator several times.

5500W is sitting in my shed. No idea if it'll put out 20 amps or not. The math says it's good for 45 amps but I don't know what it'll do per outlet. The other issue will be getting it started. I haven't used it in 3 or 4 yrs. That said I had to replace the fuel line but it started right up after having sat for 5 or 6 yrs.

14 gauge calls for a voltage setting of 4 out of 5. Pretty sure that's where I was tripping the breaker.

Edit: 16 gauge calls for 3 and 12 gauge calls for 4. Just ran it for 30 seconds or so on 3 without tripping.

Spent the morning insulating the walls of the bus.. Not a difficult task just tedious. I am using 2inch thick Roxul Comfort board.

Is that the correct spelling? I'm going to have to google that. Looks like particle board in the photos complete with a hole punched thru it and water stains in this one. I know it isn't but it sure does look like it.

Its been a buisy week at work. I was able to cover all of my insulation on the drivers and passenger side of the bus with 6mil plastic vapor barrier. I put down 3mm sound dampening underlayment with plywood subfloor on top. I am loving how this bus is taking shape.

It just keeps getting better and better. That is a lot of work you've done. It's a long row to hoe if you're working alone.

That bus looks like it should heat and cool very easily with all the windows you covered and with the type and thickness of insulation!
