We finally got all the rivets out , and back glass panels off
we had to grind several weld out so we could ; leave some of the stock braces in...
we only removed windows as we needed so it would help all the strengh and keep the rain out

Its a little hard to see but this is all we used to brace our 2 ft roof raise,,,
This is a fence post with factory holes 2in apart i had lying around, we cut them 4 ft long ,, we cut a window post in half drilled two holes in the top half and loosly bolted the post in then as we raised the roof ,, we would put a bolt in the bottom to hold it while we did the oppisite two legs,,,,

Very interesting roof raise! Why did you decide to stagger it like that? I will be following this build with interest.

Peirsg ,, the origanl design was to lower the floor in the back between the frame and make a garge for a motorcycle , so i needed the roof raise some for my bed wich was going over the top of it... i just didnt see a need in raising it all that high so we did the step it should help with wind drag also ....
MR.Friend ,,, we used the inside skin from the roof to fill in the sides ,, unfortunately we only got one side completed. as you can see in the other pictures as soon as i get them up here
Thanks for the intrest guys
