I like your bus conversion. You have done a nice job. I also like the Chevy body style, mine is a 1979 Chevy.

Re: The Bamper - 1977 Chevy 54 pass

Not a lot of internal progress but I did get some 8/4 run to the NE corner of the garage where Fergus will be parked during the summer. I know it's not weather-proof but it will only be plugged in for a day or so before each excursion.

Also got some 3" T304 SS milk line from work and extended the exhaust out beyond side of the bus so it won't smell like a lawnmower inside the bus when we travel.

Re: The Bamper - 1977 Chevy 54 pass

All packed up for last weekend. We went to a local county park and had a pretty good time. Took a trailer along with the grill, bikes and some firewood. It was a blast. We quickly discovered what the next project would be ... Screens ! ! The bugs were INSANE and it was 85+ degrees and VERY humid. Not so plesant sleeping conditions.

Here is the first one. I've got to say for having NO idea what I was really doing, it turned out amazing. Still working on a easy and secure way to attach them. We're not planning on leaving them on whilst in motion so they really only need to hold themselves on while we are parked.

Magnets are usually a nice, easy cost-effective solution

And the best source is your local dump. Go to where they scrap out refridgerators-grab a knife + cut the seal around the door. You can get about 10 ft of 1/2" wide magnet strips.

I don't know what I would do without my fellow skoolie'ers. Magnets are a PERFECT idea ! !

Picked these up at work. I got two dozen, enough for four per window on six windows. Stainless shell with a neodymium core. Strong and won't leave rusty spots when it rains.
