I'd find something better than plastic for your water hose union. From experience + other forums, plastic has a 100% failure rate.

the plastic is temporary as it's what I had and I just needed way to stop the coolent from spewing all over. Next time I get to town I was going to get some brass fittings to do it properly.

What is this "recycling center" you keep mentioning that has all this great stuff for pennies??? I don't think we have anything like that here in Dallas, Tx. Do you have more info about yours, maybe I could locate a similar place here if I had more info. Thanks!!
