Re: The Bamper - 1977 Chevy 54 pass

The "recycling center" I keep talking about is a glorified junkyard. It is about a half mile from my house so I pretty much drop by every few days.

The owner has been a close friend for 15 years so I put him on the hunt for a few things and he let's me know when they come in. It is VERY handy.

Www.centralmnrecycling.com. check it out.

I love the flooring!! Looks good, man! I might swing by the recycling center. I've never been there.

Thanks for the positive feedback on the flooring. Every time I go into the bus I like it more and more ! !

Ordered up a 12/120v breaker panel. WFCO WF-8930/50 Gotta say it's a very nice well built item.

Re: The Bamper - 1977 Chevy 54 pass

Well I got a few things done. Baby steps I guess they call it.

Got the electrical all roughed in and started in on the walls. I think I roughed in 5 120v and 6 12v areas. Kind of went overkill with a 50amp incoming line and this MASSIVE breaker panel but hey, it leaves room for expansion right ??

Re: The Bamper - 1977 Chevy 54 pass

Dinette's are complete ! ! Except for trim .... and hinges .... and cushions ...

Built them out of pine 1x4 and the same 1x6 tongue and groove as is on the walls.

Still needs corner trim to hide all the failed miter joints ....

The electrical panel is going to be going in here ....

Thinking of something like this to use as trim by the windows. I'm going to dado a groove in a 1x4 to hide the metal between the windows.

Neat idea on the dinette. They make those corner trim pieces because miters are such a bugger to get right.
