That's why we like "Rustic Style"
And yeah...rustic is good. "A flaw? Oh heck no, that's on purpose."

Re: The Bamper - 1977 Chevy 54 pass

Thanks for the positive feedback gents ! !

I am thrilled with how the pine looks against the darker floor. Just about the exact contrast I was going for.

I'm debating between using a Cedar flavored outdoor deck stain or just putting a heavy duty clear varnish on everything wood inside.

I was cruising a few RV'ing sites and stumbled across this and am DEFINITELY going to copy it just about to the T.

Yup, I have Smitty's thread bookmarked and have read it probably three times through. That is one talented individual.

Re: The Bamper - 1977 Chevy 54 pass

I've gone through smitty's thread twice myself. IMHO he has the bar set pretty high; not that others
here don't. There are some really nice Skoolies here. I like his conversion style; particularly. Nice work;
he does!
And yah; the deck on the back of the bus is a nice touch. I keep thinking I want to do that with mine at
some point.
I should be picking my bus up this weekend. The previous owner called me last Sunday and told me he'd
cleaned it out.

Re: The Bamper - 1977 Chevy 54 pass

It's been a bit since I posted but the bus has kind of been neglected for a few weeks while harvest is going on. Should wrap up the last of the corn today and hopefully finish up soybeans tomorrow ! !

It's not what you know, it's who you know and I put that to good use yesterday.

117" Granite counter top. It's setup for an undermount sink and is 24" deep with a 3" bump out in front of the sink. Best part of all .... $107.50 with tax ! !

He's going to deliver it the next time he's in the area for nothing.
