We are skinning windows this weekend as well. Our emergency windows weight a lot more than our regular windows. The each piece of glass is much heavier.

You didn't caulk the metal sheets in place BEFORE you attached them?

My window frames were originally caulked in on the sides (1 thin bead but I prefer a bigger bead) and the bottom was set in a bed of caulk. I'm reinstalling the same way. And yes, I did dry fit all the windows/skins first. But I am using the original track frame for my skins. Makes a big difference I guess.

looking good, real good. where did you get the rear view camera? I have been looking at them on line at rearviewsafety.com they seem a good price.
if you dont mind, can you tell me abit the one you got? size of screen number of cameras, and if you dont mind how much its worth?

Lots of RV's from all over the country have "docking lights" on their RV.... what's the diff? We are keeping 1 set on the front and rear (dedicated switches at switch panel next to drivers seat). I don't know about anyone else, but I plan on being able to light up our campsite if I'm pulling/backing in at night (you haven't seen some of the places we have stayed in... 3 ft to 20 ft drops off the back end of the campsite). Also it will light up the area behind us in case we have to do something to the towed vehicles... like change the tire.

Just remember that just crossing paths with the right ASSembled HOminid LEft in the wrong mood is enough to ruin your day or worse. Personally I like to be on the right side. Things elastic enough to be "interpreted" usually leave you at the wrong end of the gun.
