Re: The Brown Crown

Picked up some coat racks at the local hardware store to mount in the bedroom area. It seems everytime I go out in the Crown, there is a lot of clutter where I just lay all my stuff, so perhaps these will help, or at least give me a place to hang my hat The one on the right looks crooked in the pic, but it is straight, just the camera angle. It's funny how every unoccupied space becomes a catch-all with me.

Re: The Brown Crown

Installed an accumulator tank on my water system today. I have read several of you discussing these and I was skeptical that such a small tank would make a difference...boy was I wrong Can't believe what a difference this makes and the amount of noise reduction in the pump and the smoother water flow at slower amounts. Got this for $39.00 ... it will be the best investment if you put one on your system.

Re: The Brown Crown

Installed an electric air horn button this morning on the dash. I wanted to keep the electric horn on the wheel, so that's why the dash mount. The bus has a manual horn air valve on the floor by the dimmer switch. So quite frequently I would put the lights on bright instead of the horn...or when you get up to get out of the seat, step on the horn by accident and freak out anyone who may be around. But most important, when you need the horn, usually you're trying to stop fast and one foot is on the brake and the other on the clutch, so there is no foot left over for the floor valve. This solves the problem and I can blast away at will now

Beautiful bus! I love the paint job on the outside, and the inside looks really homey and comfortable. Nice craftsmanship.
