Hey there i like what you have done with ur bus! And i love the color!
I am in the prosses of looking for a bus to convert myslef,
i have been scaning this site for half a year now and i was wondering,
if the carpet that you put on the inside roof adds extra insulation?

Re: The Brown Crown

I hadn't got around to finishing out the wall in the bathroom, so it was time. Worked today on getting the wall studs secured and hope to get the panneling in tomorrow. I will add a little more insulation before the panneling goes up. Nearing the end of any major work on the bus. When the bathroom walls are finished, maybe I'll have some time to just relax and enjoy. Here are a few pics of today's work. Kinda hard to get a good pic since the room is small.

Beautiful job, and looking better all the time. Normally we go thru Bakersfield on our way south but this year we have to go to Minnesota first or we would stop by and see her in person. Maybe next time.
Keep at it, I've been working on ours for 8 years now.

Jerry,
Like everyone else here, a work in progress. Would love to have you all stop by, so next time around, be sure to go to Minnesota via here so we can see each other's work. Your bus is a beauty and I envy your travels

Yes, I think it would be a photogenic moment to see gold and silver crowns setting next to each other.
I don't expect to return to Minnesota any time soon. This will be the last trip up that way for a while.

Re: The Brown Crown

Worked all day today on the bathroom panneling and got most of the trip completed too. Just have a few more little details to finish on the trim, but got tired and needed a beer, so there is always next weekend

Finished the trim over the sink area today in the bathroom and installed the roller shade on the window. Ran out of wood to make the valance to cover the roller so will have to do that tomorrow.

Re: The Brown Crown

Santa brought me a new inverter back in December, but due to just trying to live life and work, I just got around to installing it today. Works fine, but I do think I will have to upgrade the battery bank now...if it's not one thing, it's something else. Oh well, it still is a labor of love.
