Oh man thats a great idea...I like that. I may have to redo mine. I spent the better part of today on the roof, digging out old sealer from the seams and squirting in new. Finally got a some sun.

Going through Craigslist and found a local source for live edge slabs of pine. We settled on $200 for 15' of slab, $13.33/lf. The last place I checked out wanted $500-$700 for a 6' piece. He'll cut my pieces next week and let it sit and dry for a couple months before I need to install it.

Working on the wall sections for the garage. Need to remove them now so I can glue down the flooring.
Peg board on the top half of the wall for tools and such.

Thunder storm came over while I was working, found the only leak at the front rt window. The news said the worst of the storm was right over me. Freaking loud in that metal shell with massive rain pounding on it.

We had crazy storms last night here, the spray foam insulation seems to amplify the sound even. Such is life in a bus though good to find your leak before you start putting in things that can't get wet!

Had thunder and lightning yesterday like I haven't seen in years. It was cool here. Some places to the South of us got hammered.

Hey Josh,

Where are you guys? We are in Kansas till Saturday.

I'll have 1-1/2" of rigid board on both sides of the wall, as well as the walls and ceiling, but none on the floor, there will be 1-1/2"of rigid on the floor in the cabin. Still trying to find a reasonably priced 3' section of school lockers to put back there.

Just hope you can find some that won't need to be decontaminated first for the used sweat sock scents...

I was gluing down the poly mat in the garage, of course the container of adhesive didn't go near as far as they claim. That's 100+ sf of adhesive down, the space is only 50sf. So off to Home Depot to get some more. Come back to find a couple of my cats decided to check out my work. I hope they have fun licking that stuff off their feet.

Judging from the size of the tracks, how good of an adhesive can it be, if it doesn't immobilize small gatos? [emoji848]

On the plus side, at least it didn't decide your work area was a dandy location to perform ablutions, becoming a permanent bump in your floor...

I was surprised, this stuff calls for an hour of setting before doing anything with it, and like workable for 10-15hrs.

OIC. Some glues are flexible (pun intended) like that.

When in doubt, I always purchase twice as much as I expect to need, and wind up with returns.

You'll notice the bigger tub. I was debating on getting another of the small ones but looking at the floor wasn't sure one more would do. Well HD decided for me as I purchased the last small one yesterday and all they had left was the one larger tub. It has to dry to clear before working it.

Don't know what pissing me off more, the cats that won't stay out of the glue, or the glue that should have tacked up after an hour and here the next day,17 hours later and the stuff is still wet, should dry to clear.

Now which way did they go?
