Anyone see anything wrong with this mock up? The small pump will be plumbed into the blue line.

Great Discount
I stopped by HD to pick up a sink base cabinet. They had a 5' long model for $150. I get there and notice there is a drawer that looks funky. I ask the guy helping me load it if there might be a discount for the damaged drawer. He say's just tell them it's damaged and to knock $50 off, heck ya. All it was was the slider came out of it's mount, 1 minute and it was fixed. Now I have to hack it up and remove most of the back and floor and cut off most of the toe kick.

So I threw away the $50 worth I saved by cutting out the bottom, toe kick and bottom of the cabinet to fit it in it's location. Fits like I planned it that way. The water tank fits snuggly under the chair rail.

Saving $50 dollars by completing what they failed to complete is always a plus. Our toekick has saved..... well, my toes as well as my back, as i don't have to bend over at an unusual angle to work in the sink. I hope your modified cabinet will work well for you.

By removing the toe kick it lowered it 4" but I'll make an inch up in the thick countertop. Should end up just about 2" lower than a standard cabinet and not interfere with the windows.

Sorting the electric wall. This shrink tube is awesome stuff. When I got it I said no way is this for 2/0 wire, but not only does it shrink in diameter that much, it gets thicker as it shrinks, ending up being a full 1/8" thick with glue inside to weatherproof it. Hook the coolant lines tomorrow and the minisplit can be tested

How did you cut the toe kick? Any troubles getting it in place with most of the back missing? I'd be afraid of breaking it moving it around. Not much material left.

Skil saw. just cut around the base abouty an inch high. The 2 sides and front are the sturdiest, so it's mangable moving it into place. I'm replacing my Ecco L5 with 2 indoor units, one for floor, one for shower and sink.

The non-bowling alley buses. The last kitchen pic, the white kitchen.
