Started to mount the solar panels, temporarily untill I figure an adjustment system. Looks like I'll have enough room to mount 12 of them behind the front hatch, leaving me a small area for a deck if I decide on one. Right now I'll just pop rivet the panels to 3/4" aluminum angle bolted into nutserts on 1-1/4" stand offs to the roof.

On a sad note, while pulling the fridge out of the garage the cardboard box fell over and hit a 1/2 sheet of OSB knocking down and shattering my Harley Davidson Toilet tank. This was a display for my Powder Coating business and was a lot of work that went into it. It's been auctioned off for charity 3 times already. It brought over $600 in donations. I did this when I first started doing powder coating and was marketing Sports Rival Toilets. Your favorite teams logo powder coated on the front of the tank, your opposing team logo powder coated in the bowl. Great idea until Ga. Tech decided they would sue my pants off if I continued (yes, they were in the bowl).

Fridge should be just big enough. I've had a short aparment fridge in there, no way it would be big enough for more than a days worth of food and beverage.
I may cut the cabinet up, make it narrower front to rear by cutting it back to the ends of the drawers and dropping it 4" by removing the toe kick like the other side.

I'm thinking of screwing a couple of "L" brackets behind the top of the fridge in the wall that just over lap on top of the fridge to keep it from tipping, will this be sufficient?

Took my neighbor to the pawn shop to pawn his weed trimmer. While there I noticed this shop band saw, been wanting one for awhile. Marked $39.95, they took $30 for it. It was filled with squirrel nesting, but blown out it works great.

Put a quart of Gatorade in the freezer, frozen solid in 1-1/2 hrs., pretty efficient.

now that's a buy - it has to be worth that for the scrap metal in it - ( my next purchase should be a larger shop to hold what I have now - I'm either over equipped or under housed - lol

Started with a standard 30" base cabinet, cut the bottom 4" off, turn it upside down and remounted the drawer slides. I'll mount a shelf for the stove/oven and cut out the front of the doors. I'm thinking of narrowing the cabinet front to back by 2" also, trying to recover floor space.

This is most certainly of interest!! So, looking at your info under your avatar your bus is 77 pax; is that 40 foot? Mine's a 13 window 84 pax. Has one "row" (no seat) that was sheet metal instead of windows.
Anywho, somewhere on my computer I have a Visio of panels in the various "standard" sizes they come in. I have a post-it with wattage, qty, and max wattage. What size are your panels? Covering every bit of my roof except the hatches these are the layouts I came up with. If you decide to steal it, be warned that you may want to take your own measurements as mine have bit me in the ass multiple times. If measuring twice and cutting once is good then measuring 5 times and cutting 3 times is better, right?

You've had a headstart on the rest of us in gathering. I definitely need A shop much less a larger shop.
P.S. If the grandkids are a PITA, feel free to add me to the will.

D'uh, that sucks. Question tho, how do you powder coat non-conductive materials?

It's a secret, if I tell you, I'll have to kill you. It's one of the reasons I did that tank, to prove to the naysayers that say it can't be done.

Fun at CostCo
I decide to drive the 30 miles to the nearest Costco for GC2 batteries. Get there and ther eis a guy at the entrance turning everyone around and a sign that says "No Parking". A couple people drove by the guy, so I did also, only to find the parking lot almost empty. I asked an attendant and was informed electricyt was down in the whole area and it will be about 45 minutes before they can reopen. So I run the nearest Lowes and get a few parts and then head back to CostCo. About 1/2 hour later they finally open the doors. I go in and sign up for the $60 membership that I will cancel after the battery purchase. I figure while I'm there I'll see if there's anything else I might need. I'm getting older and live by myself, so seldom if ever need any in bulk. Go through every isle and the only thing I liked was a 36pk of microfiber towels for $8. After hitting every isle I then head to the automotive section where the attendant turns out to be my daughters ex boyfriend. We load the 4 batteries into the cart and no sooner does the electricty go out again. They evactuate the store and inform they will probably not reopen today

If you buy paper towels and toilet paper from Costco you probably save the cost of the membership over the course of a year. For sure we do but Hillary users a lot more of both than most humans. They have good prices on good stuff today you don't have to buy in large quantities too. But they aren't everywhere, we let ours lapse.

I am just bothered by the whole concept of giving a company my money solely for the right to give them more of my money.
I thought that's what my BMW was for.

I certainly doen't use $60 worth of toilet paper and paper towels in a year, let alone enough to save $60.
You don't think it's fair to pay a fee to get you're quantity discount? I did find some items were more expensive than my regular retail grocer.

If you're buying Costco sized paper products, your bus is too big

Would you post a picture of your stand offs and how they are connected to the roof?
