Today is the one year anniversary of becoming a Skoolie owner. Not as far in the build as I'd like, but I'd rather take longer to do it correctly and not just throw it together.

Yay, I finally figured out the rear wiring and rewire the brake and turn signal lights as well as the reverse lights. So I can be legal when I take it on the road this week to run her down the road for the first time in 11 months. I had bought these LED lights to replace the rear door back up lights. I really didn't like how they didn't match the others. So I took one apart and find I can just silicone the innards to a light bucket and match the factory ones once I get clear lenses.

Actually going through the spare lights box taught me a few thing. The concave light bucket is an overhead light, the back door lights have a flat bucket. So I'll screw my LED plate to three 1/4" standoffs on the door plate and these should work perfect. All the buckets are in the stripper, I'll through a fresh black powder coat on them in the morning and finish these off tomorrow.

Congrats! I'm at 15 months but you're ahead of me. Something about breaking my ankle this winter set me back a bit. Oh, and that darned work... We seem to be on a similar path though- I was reworking my lights today.

Buses eat up time and money.

How much are your 4x10's running up there?

I'm normally paying $70, The last one had boogered corners on the edge I didn't need and sold it to me for $50.

Finished skinning the pass. side. Spent too much time today running around to places that don't have jack for inventory to get any work done. Will work on rear lights and window framing the drivers side tomorrow now that I have more metal.
