Powder coated the upper and lower jambs and installed for final sealing and screwing everything down. Now to find a couple sets of door hinges.

Got the pocket door installed. Has a 71" head clearance, plenty for me. It will open fully in either direction.
Daytime pic of the rear door mod.

Got my loading ramp, but can't fit it yet as the bus is backed up 3' from a non opening garage door and the bus won't start for me to pull it forward. Plan is a cutout in the bumper that is hinged and the trifold ramp folds into a height of less than 5". I'll fab up a storage rack where it sits between the frame rails of the bus.
Plan is to lengthen the ramp by about 2'.

That sure is pretty! How much weight will it take? You are loading what, bikes mostly?

And the bus still not starting, what's up with that? been a while no?

1500lb capacity. I plan on lengthening it by adding tubing the full length inside the existing tubes to strengthen them more. I'll be loading bikes(350lbs. ea.), but want options for future owners to load ATV and other 4WD toys.

I figured out the interlock issue and it turns over now, but won't fire. We suspect fuel has siphoned back to the tank and is not reaching the pickup. I put another 10 gallons of fuel in and it is showing 1/2 tank. Before when I tried to pump the primer I would get some squishy pumps and then some "soft air" pumps. Now there is no pressure when I pump the primer at all. I'll put some more fuel in and change the filter for the new one that I will prime. Been raining a bunch and I've been reluctant to get under the bus.

Finally got one door hung, not a fun job by yourself. Ended up dropping the door on my little finger ripping a huge gash in it. 3 layers of bandaids couldn't contain it as I bled all over my work. I need to fab a backing plates to weld in behind the hinges. One hinge right now is only bolted to body skin and that won't last long that way.
Best part is it is square and plumb with the correct space for the second door. These are not like a residential door you can shim to fit.
Hey, what happened? My pics are oriented correctly.

Got the cross member notched and seated the ramp in it's stored location. Also hooked up the inverter just to see if it works, it powered the hand grinder no problem.

Pulled the front E-hatch and put in the second skylight. It looks like nothing is there when looking out of it.

Both my Thomas and my Bluebird have rub rails on the roof and its still odd to see a bus without them. Looking good!

By the way marc why didn't you make garage doors fit the opening?

Roll up garage door? I don't think I could get the tracks mounted correctly, but I did think of that option. It wouldn't look factory like my double door will.

Yeah Thomas and Bluebird had two rub rails running down the roof. Its nice, but not necessary. The Genesis has the nicest looking roofline though.

Easy, affordable shower stall.
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Durastal...-202899038-_-N

I ordered a 32"x32" shower pan for $116. I then went to look for a prefab 3 side wall surround. They wanted $350. Then I came upon this unit for the price of the surround.

Wasn't meaning roll up. Swinging doors like redd did. easy to build and time saving actually, along with more entrance headroom.

Got a link to it? If you'll notice on my build, I moved the header up 4" which is high as you can go before getting into the roof cap. I'll weld on 4" extensions on the doors.
The time involved in my setup will all be in the second door and moving the hinges to the opposite side.

Just search for "redd" guess above in search box. From near here but maybe bus is called something else. Search posts he has made about his doors. Curved to fit the arch I believe, no header, looks great.
Sorry about your fingers, that looks awful sore.

I'm sure it needs a stitch or 2, but I'm too stubborn to go see a doc that will charge me $100. It is still bleeding after 2 days, of course my heart blood thinners don't help matters.
