John, I'm glad you directed me there. I've been considering how to "latch" the left door. I had the idea of just a slide bolt at top and bottom. but the spring loaded latches redd used are perfect for holding that door closed. The other door will use the stocks E-bar and exterior handle, till I figure an aesthetic lock set up.

I ordered a 32"x32" shower pan for $116. I then went to look for a prefab 3 side wall surround. They wanted $350. Then I came upon this unit for the price of the surround.
I installed this same unit in my bluebird. Stop a work in progress but I got it but and the drain run.

I'm frustrated and there's nothing that can be done about it. Why do many Craigslisters have to be such douchebags. I run an ad looking for a door. Guy messages me and says "I think I have what you need." I call him and he says he'll look in the yard and see if it's correct. No word for the rest of the day. Keep in mind I'm ready to jump in the truck and haul butt. So I call him the next day and ask about the door. He says he'll send me a pic of it. No word for the rest of the day, next day I text and he says pic didn't go through, he'll resend it and does. It's the door I need. "When can I pick it up and where?" I'll text you address he says. Didn't text the address and now won't answer the phone or texts.

Does it fit square against the wall, or does it need to be trimmed to fit?

I would have to trim it if I wanted to put it again a wall. It's installed in the middle, so I will have to frame around it a bit. It's pretty flimsy overall.

Big enough for two I imagine, great for water conservation purposes,

Glad you found it marc. Redd is a master if you ask me at metalworking.
That is how to do doors for maximum opening.

The initial impact told me 'That hurt", but it was temporary. I bandaged it as best I could and went back to work. I've got 4 bandaid around it and it still bleeds through. This will be a slow healer, but there is not pain associated that I notice. Tip of my little finger, so not a high use finger. I do notice how much I use that finger to scratch my ears or whatever.

I'll turn it sideways and have a wall on 3 sides to sturdy it. I'll plumb the shower head in the ceiling high as possible, maybe shooting straight down.

Don't know about that easy and time saving. Looks like a more work than mine.

Wait, I lied. Well, mis remembered. I did have to shorten the walls something like 2 inches. I would need to trim a lot to get it against a wall. My bus has 77 inch max ceiling and I lose about 3 inches to the thicker floor and celling.

Trimming was easy enough to do.

Stopped by the Liquidation Mart for my weekly visit and ended up scoring some flooring. $10 a box (24sf), or $.41/sf

So i tried calling and texting more over the last few days, no response. Tonight I called and he answered. Said "you're a tough guy to get ahold of." Said he'd been out of town and just got back. Okay, so you don't check texts or calls made? Whatever. Anyway scheduled to pick up the door on Sat.

Hey do you know what size the Onan was in that motor home? I saw one pop up on Ebay somewhere in GA. Listed just a day ago. Listing says "should work, just pulled from an RV".

FWIW I think the more modern inverter type generators may be a better buy. Quieter and more efficient. I've been holding out for a deal on a dead rv or a decent used onan but I'm starting to consider just getting a couple of the "suitcase" type and going with those to save weight and noise.

, this one would have been

Yes, this one would have been a compromise, but it was the bonus package that made this deal so good. I'm pissed, if I were the seller I would have handled it more fairly.

Better price than I thought. I checked my bank account this morning and noticed the charge and 2 lines later a refund for same.
Next time I'm in there I'll let them know of their mistake.
