Where the hell is Chris? There has to be a way to replace the OEM mirrors with mirrored monitors. With no voltage/signal, it's a mirror. Flip the switch and the mirror monitor turns on and now it's the camera. Shouldn't cost much more than the bus itself per camera.

I have a mirror camera in the truck, has 2" screen to the right side of rearview mirror and a small camera hangs off the bottom of the mirror. It just clips over your existing mirror of which we don't have in the bus.

It's full floating now, but inevitably will have some things attached to it through the floor.
Stopped by Habitat for Humanity ReStore today and picked up these 2 cabinets to modify for the bus, $20ea. On the way home stopped by the Liquidation Hut to pick up 4-5 more pieces of flooring I was short. He said Ya, go ahead and grab what you need. I looked for awhile and thought they had sold out of , but then found 3 boxes, decided it wouldn't hurt to have a whole box with some spares, so I grabbed one and went to pay him the $10 I paid for the other 7 boxes. Wouldn't take my money, said take the box. Nice guys. These are a couple of young guys who started this salvage store about a year ago. I asked how they were doing and he said they were profiting $160k/m there.

Road side service called at noon to say the mechanic would be here in 2 hrs. At 3:00 they called to say they were running late and wouldn't make it out here until Tues. morning now. I told then I was really hoping to go somewhere this weekend in it and they've been putting me off for 2-1/2 weeks. They said cal MTR in Cumming, they'll probably have a truck there within an hour. WTF, why didn't you tell me about them 2 weeks ago. Called at 4:00, and of course on a Friday night holiday weekend they can't get here until Tues. afternoon.

Bit the bullet and ordered a 12k BTU minisplit for $432, tried for 2 @ $416ea. I'll see how efficient it is before deciding on a second one. Be nice to have one front and rear.

Tested the hole saw for size, fit perfect. I have 10 of these lights, actually 11 because a spring broke on one and they replaced it. Should be plenty for that space. I'll want something brighter in the garage.

Well this looks like a problem, my floating floor seams are loose and just walking on them (probably due to the angle the bus is parked at) slides them enough to pull the ends apart. I'm going to leave them unsecured on the sides, but will need to tighten all the butts and secure the ends from fore and aft movement.

Wasn't impressed with my $25 dual bowl 25" stainless sink, so I powder coated it Black Bronze II. Have dark hardware for it also.

I do powder coating for a living. Creative Candy Powder Coating. I do not at this time have an active website, my brother is working on a new one for me.

Service called today to blow me off again. Said to call when I get up in the morning and they'll send someone out. Been way too long not hearing my bus make noise.

for the first 4 billion years +/-, the earths climate remained pretty much unchanging, then about 500 - 700 million years ago,something happened to change all that - ( planetary collision perhaps?) and the first ice caps appeared ( cooincidently with the first life on earth ) - since those first ice caps, earth's climate has been acting like the prongs on a tuning fork and bouncing back and forth from hot to cold, but more hot than cold and more time without ice caps than with - we are living in one of the coolest periods at the moment - it's true that climate keeps changing, but normally climate change happens over a time frame spanning the lifetime of 1000's generations - the change this time is happening so fast that there is no doubt that humans are contributing to the rapidness of the change

How is it even remotely possible that all of these so called "experts" are now able to make these unsubstantiated statements that the earth is getting ruined by man's presence and practices on it, based on data that wasn't established at the time it happened hundreds of thousands of years ago???

oh, but there is a permanent record that's been kept, - like rings in the trunk of a tree that shows not only how old the tree is, but what the weather was like each year, there are rings in the earths crust that indicate things like how wet it was, forest fires, floods, volcanoes, and climate - you've likely seen pictures of marine fossils found high in the mountains due to crust upheaval caused by plate tectonics, or fossils of ferns or palm type trees - there are several methods used to date the fossils and the rocks themselves

Service truck showed up and let me in on the secret. I told him I pumped the new primer 1000 times. He said the secret was you had to pump it 2000 times. Pumped for awhile and got some pressure then it just went soft again, pumped a bunch more and it finally sputtered and fired up. Probably gonna cost me $125, expensive lesson. But I am one happy camper that I don't have to worry about that anymore. I can move the bus now and start working on stuff I couldn't when it was so close to the garage.

So I see the driver pull back up in front of the house. Ask what's up, says I have to collect $145 from you. Why so much, I was quoted by the owner $125/hr from the minute he leaves the shop till the minute he returns. It took him 25 minutes to travel 12 miles and at this time it hasn't even been an hour. Boss says it's $145, if the driver gets stuck in traffic we don't know what to bill till he returns. Okay, so why are you asking for money when the driver is still here. I've been waiting 3 weeks for this service. He finally relented and accepted $125, but added 5% for CC, he made more because I used a CC. The other place they referred me to wanted $125 to show up and then start billing @$125/hr. Would have been $250 instead of the $131 paid.
