Looking good.
I went with the same breadboard/wainscoting but I used sheetmetal studs for framing. Quicker and easier to work with, can make work to any curve with some tin snips and in the end lighter than lumber.
That was my choice but your build is looking good so keep on keepin on.
Good job!

Thanks for all the compliments!

I got a lot of little things done today... Removed and re-arranged some of the windows (to hide the emergency exit windows). I cleaned up my massive mess that I had going and vacuumed up all the sawdust. I also framed in some of the kitchen windows and put up some paneling above where the counter tops are going and put up plywood on the walls that will be hidden by cabinets.

It is coming along nicely, i think. I just wish that I could have done this project on level ground; I do my best to make sure things are square and plum but no matter how hard I try, I still find flaws.

I got the bus on the 29th of July and my goal was to have the bus done and move in by Oct. 1, 2016. It looks like I am on track to meet that goal. We shall see!

We have decided to change the name to "The Loser Cruiser". We chose this name because it has history with our family. About 10 years ago, we had a crappy Suburban and one of my daughters dubbed it the looser cruiser. Well, we loved that crappy Suburban and the loser cruiser name it was refered to as. So it seems fitting that we will now dub the bus "The Loser Cruiser". Now if I can figure out how to edit this thread to update the name.

Scored some cabinets from my work. We are remodeling a 4000 sq ft house (kitchen and bath) and these are a few of the cabinets that came out if. My boss was planning on selling them for $50 each. We got 5 cabinets for $50 and I gave him an extra $10. I forgot to mention I got the really nice solid surface counter-tops too! I love when wealthy people throw away good stuff!

Got a lot done this weekend. Re-Sealed the Emergency Hatches. Finished both living room and kitchen walls. The OSB plywood you see will be hidden by the couch and on the opposite side the OSB will be hidden by the Fire Place, Firewood Box and Entertainment System Cabinet. I started on the kitchen and living room flooring, which I should be able to finish tomorrow after work.

Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

How are you attaching studs to ceiling/walls?

Got a lot done this weekend. The last wall is pretty much done. The main counter top is seamed and the sink and cook top have been set in place. Wired the main counter outlet and the microwave outlet and the refrigerator outlet. I'm exhausted.. Cant wait for work tomorrow; It's easier at work than it is on my weekends these days. I got a picture of a light on in the bus.. weird to see it lit up, even if it is just a drop light (not permanent).

I got a lot done this weekend.

• Friday night, I installed all the 12 volt LED lighting, the 12 volt fuse panel, the deep cell marine battery and the converter/charger. Saturday I took on the challenge of installing a larger 110/220 volt breaker panel. I had already pulled the wires to all the outlets weeks ago but i still needed to wire up the outlets. and the breaker panel. I also made my own 15 amp, 30 amp and 50 amp shore power adapters including the adapter for plugging in the generator.

• Sunday, (today) I finished all of the laminate flooring throughout the bus, cut down the drawer to fit/slide under the gas stove (silverware only drawer). Then I created Natalie's bedroom guard rail. I wanted to take a break and do something fun for a while, so I took the extra time to personalize the guard rail for my princess!

Plumbing next weekend! stay tuned (not looking forward to plumbing at all).

Today marks a major milestone in #thelosercruiser build! Major construction is over! We have bedrooms, closets, kitchen, shower, water, electricity, plumbing and plenty of room! So glad this is just about over! I have been working on this almost daily now for 14 weeks. I still have little things to do here and there as well as painting the exterior while my wife and daughter Kianna, go crazy painting on the inside. #skoolie #busconversion #tinyhouse #almostover
