Just sharing our final build process. We started with a shuttle bus and aimed for a conversion with all the components below the window level, giving more of a safari vehicle feel over an enclosed RV. We call it our Family Adventure Mobile.

We have LOVED this project and would eagerly build a second one. Next time, we would invest more in the bus to reduce mechanical issues. What isn't detailed at Instructables are the unexpected repairs...so a heads up since we have heard this from every builder, be prepared to invest a lot in repairs.
The next step is the inflatable tentacles that flap out the emergency hatch. This bus has turned out to be just a vehicle to embrace the unexpected and put a smile on our faces...inflatable tentacles!? Why not! ;)
