Excellent work on you build. I am fascinated by your approach to your air conditioner. Can you give some more details on how your setup works (does the air conditioner slide back to close the window or is the whole setup just temporary while you are working on the bus) great job so far.

It was temporary. I have actually mounted a rooftop unit since then. I really need to post some updates.
I used the emergency window since they open enough toy accept the unit.

These locks by master lock are the bomb. I saw one on Instagram, on a bus. It is great if you want to keep your split door.

We used handy boxes for most of our outlet/switch boxes. We pulled 14/3 strand wire (power cord) for most of the lights and switches. We pulled 12/3 powercord for the appliance/dedicated circuits.
Used LED strip lights on every other cross section. And have been using puck lights for other applications.

We mounted two puck lights on the wall behind the bed. They are switched on and off with a switch mounted b/w the bed and the back of the bus.
We have an idea for making some shades out of old metal signs and conduit straps. Should be cool.
My wife cut the waves. She was a sailor so this is a ship as far she's concerned.

Natures head composting toilet. We will have a black water and and grey water tank from my old camper, but there will only be grey water produced. I hope this will extend our stay between dumps.(tanks, not actual 'dumps')
The shower is a mess!! Lol it is just dry mounted right now, mocked up if you will. We are using old metal roofing for the walls.

Shower looks roomy! I'm sure you had all those things in there to give us an idea of the scale. ;)

We had just taken the thing to Mobile, AL. All that stuff was 'secure' in the shower. Then we never cleaned up after the trip. Our clubhouse is a mess.

Hey, not criticizing. Sounds like the smart thing to do, plus it gets things out of the way so people aren't tripping over them.

We have been painting. We used valspar micro spray paint for the gray and cream colors. Found a bunch of rust oleum in teal for the cheap at a second hand store. Click image for larger version

We are halted on our paint job for now. Hurricane Patricia 's remnants are dumping on us.

So curtains. My wife made star wars themed curtains, since we will be giving up our Star Wars posters when we move into the clubhouse/bus. Click image for larger version

The Land Lubber

She used old jeans and attached black out material in the backing.
She was in the Navy so cleats and line are the only hardware used for hanging.
She installed these eyelet rivet things and metal rings to the curtains to hang them from the line.

I bought my bus in Lumberton MS! We were going to stop in Hattiesburg on the way back to Nashville but the Water Pump went on us! I'm in TN and use Liberty Mutual. I haven't registered it yet but once its an "RV" it'll probably be easier.

That's cool! I know where lumberton is. I'll check Liberty.
