still bored, but I figured out the led strips fit between T50 staples, with great penetration.... possibilities are endless! just think, for the front of a bus, you could have a lighted name or monogram. the 3M adhesive on this stuff sucks!
or tie them into your brake lights for STOP

that last one had 9 inch tall letters, I just got in a hurry stapling and soldering it to board.. it was too hot in garage
can you imagine a 9 inch tall LED STOP sign in the back window of a suburban every time you hit the brakes??? add a flasher, so it blinks
If someone still rear ended me, I'd be rich!!!
I agree, extremely battery friendly!

We're talking about Made in China, no brand name, $10 on eBay including free express shipping from Shenzhen, LED tape right? You don't believe that's really 3M mounting tape, do you..?
I agree, it's been junk on every roll of LED tape I've used too. I got an inexpensive crazy-long roll of 1/16" thick foam mounting tape at a sign-making supply place and it works pretty well.

Love your bus! Did you spray foam your ceiling as well? I am planning on using Bus Kote and spray foam insulation but want to leave the original bus windows in. I was a little worried about heat transfer through the windows. Is the one ac unit enough?

Thank you
I only used Bus Kote and I have no heat transfer with the original insulation in the roof.
For the windows I first put the Bubble Foil then 3/4"'Foam Board then paneling... Then Aromatic Cedar Closet Planks
I got the Coleman Mach 15 - 15,000Btu and its too big but it's nice to cool down quick

I got mine from Superbrightleds.com. Each strip is 1 meter long and can be rigged with an optional dimmer. They already run on 12VDC.
