You'll have a nice clean line on the rear end! (how often do you get internet strangers complimenting your rear end, anyway?)

Yeah, I could imagine there would be significantly more structural components on your bus.
I once sat on a freshly painted railing that left a nice clean line on my rear. Needless to say, I received many comments about it that day! None from an internet user though.

Yep....A "tallish" kind of person would definitely endure many headaches with the original roof height.

You've got me excited!
I ordered up the "hat" channel...
And I'm thinking I'll use the all-thread method too.
THANKS for posting this. Keep up the great work bro.
Edit- did you do all that with one hacksaw blade? You got skills man.

Skills and good blades.
I use Milwaukee saws all blades. Better than most.

Thank you so much guys...I'm glad you like the videos!
I hope this inspires others to follow through with their ideas of raising the roof and follow their dreams!
The all-thread method worked fantastically and was very simple and cheap to construct. It held the roof nice and steady while it was being jacked up. So far, I've only put about $75.00 in materials to do this.
The great thing about editing is you didn't see the 2 blades I broke. ;)

Thank you.....I used a combination of a GoPro Hero 3+ silver and a Hero 4. Setting for video... 1080 30fps
Setting for time-lapse ... 12mp every 10 seconds

Yep....most the time my mind thinks faster than I can speak!
It was cool when listening to the playback of the video and hearing the cardinal, I didn't even notice while talking. Good of you to know your birds...Nature is awesome!
I can't wait to see you put that saw in use also!!

I had a very good friend arrive in town today while I was out working on Transcendence. He came by for a visit and we recorded a few songs to use on my YouTube Channel. I hope you enjoy this short song.
